SOUTH AFRICAN OVER 45 INDOOR CRICKET TEAM RECORDS As at 31 October 2006

For the purposes of this record of the SA Over 45 Indoor Cricket team, only information from Test matches has been used.

It is interesting to note, however, that the SA Over 45 team first played in an Inland Tour of South Africa in 2004. They played against a Kwazulu-Natal Invitation team, Kwazulu Natal Over 40, Mpumalanga, Western Gauteng, and Gauteng South. They won all the matches.

In April 2005, the SA Over 45 team played warm-up matches against England and Australia Over 35. These are deemed as friendly fixtures, albeit against International sides. The SA Over 45 team lost both these games. However, they had picked an ‘A’ and ‘B’ team for the purposes of the warm up matches. However, insofar as the official records are concerned, the Spitfire Test Series against England is the starting point.
